PMNO shows non-profit leaders how to use organizational performance measurement to enhance the organization’s ability to deliver on its mission. To address today’s complex challenges, the program examines a range of effective approaches to help guide organizations in any economy. Through classroom exercises, group discussions, and individual coursework, participants examine the rationale behind non-profit performance management and conceptualize a new performance measurement and management system for non-profit organizations.
Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management (SPNM)

SPNM guides non-profit Executive Directors and CEOs as they explore proactive methods for mastering non-profit leadership in uncertain times. HBS faculty and approximately 140 non-profit leaders from around the world challenge participants to strengthen their ability to improve the effectiveness of their organizations. Through case studies of a diverse set of non-profits, participants gain an invaluable understanding of the core concepts crucial to non-profit leadership. This newfound insight will enable non-profit leaders to develop customized strategies as well as effective implementation plans.
Governing for Non-profit Excellence (GNE)

GNE is designed to maximize the contributions of individual non-profit board members. Participants are challenged to examine their role and the role of their boards in improving organizational effectiveness.
